An internal tool — a guided wizard that turns my own tracked hours into a QuickBooks invoice — designed so every number is obviously safe to send, or obviously not. Six real decisions are documented along the way, including a financial-data trust bug I traced to its root cause and an OAuth flow I built, then chose to retire.
